Laser Atlanta Announces Jammer Detector Feature Standard
Laser Atlanta, a leading laser optics technology developer and provider of measuring systems for professionals, today launched a new feature as included in its SpeedLaser® R and SpeedLaser® S units. This is also available in Laser Atlanta's low cost software upgrade program as always available to law enforcement.

The SpeedLaser® has had an industry leading "stealth" mode that fools jammers, defeating them from preventing speed readings. This exciting new feature now detects that a jammer is in use and displays the type of jammer to the law enforcement officer at the time that the speed is recorded.

U.S. Navy Employs Laser Atlanta Proximity Measurement Systems For
Collision Avoidance In Underway Replenishment Operations
The U.S. Navy is using specially designed laser Proximity Measurement Systems developed by Laser Atlanta for maintaining a safe distance between ships during underway replenishment (UNREP). Laser Atlanta developed the system that was tested and is being approved for use by the fleet by the Naval Sea Systems Command.
